It's your own personal expert on how to use the English language to maximum effect.

3. How do I look up a word?

From the Search screen, being typing the word you are searching for. Once you find it, select the word and you will see the dictionary view. To see the thesaurus view (if available), press the Thesaurus button.

4. What are the light gray lines under many of the words?

These are links to jump directly to the word's definition. Just touch the word and you will see the View button pop up. Touch the View button to see the dictionary view for the word you selected.

5. Is there an easy way to see the different parts of speech for each word?

For words that have multiple parts of speech, there will be double arrows next to each part of speech section heading. Touch the double arrows to bring up a shortcut to each part of speech.
