PATENTS GRANTED ON NEW WIRELESS MESSAGING TECHNOLOGY FOR HEALTHCARE
VOCEL has been awarded patent nos. 7,340,503, and 7,353,258 by the United States Patent Office for their next generation messaging technology for healthcare. VOCEL Interactive Messaging is like SMS, but has a structured 1-click response model and enables scripting of the user response buttons and screens.
Mobile operators will market the Pill Phone application, which uses VOCEL Interactive Messaging technology, to provide education and pill reminders directly to consumers. The Pill Phone will also be used for clinical trial recruitment and management on mobile phones.
