PATENT GRANTED ON NEW WIRELESS MESSAGING TECHNOLOGY
VOCEL, Inc. today announced the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued patent number 7,321,920 for their next generation messaging technology. VOCEL Interactive Messaging is like SMS, but has a structured 1-click response model and enables scripting of the user response buttons and screens.
Mobile operators will use VOCEL Interactive Messaging for segmentation, dynamic pre-loading of handset software, customer education, intelligent offers, healthcare management, rate plan surveys/upgrades, customer care surveys, and customer retention.
